An ACT-R model of the process of visualizing paths described verbally from an allocentric, map-like perspective(Lyon, Gunzelmann & Gluck, Cognitive Psychology, 2008)is extended to account for data on human visualization of paths described from a very different perspective -- the viewpoint of a traveller on the path.
